Welcome to our new and improved website! We're gearing up for another great year of bluegrass, and this year we're going to be introducing a lot of great new material. For those of you who are new to the Copper River Band, let me give you an introduction...
The Copper River Band currently consists of four members, Jim Govern, Bob Denoncourt, Thomas Porter, and Dick Brown. We are located in and around Phoenix, AZ. The band has been together since 2005 and has played at festivals across the southwest including Arizona, California, and Nevada, and recently traveled to Tennessee to perform at the Huck Finn Showcase at the IBMA's in Nashville. In 2007 the Copper River Band won the National Bluegrass Playoffs in Victorville, CA at the Huck Finn Jubilee. The year prior they won the Bluegrass Band competition in Wickenburg, AZ at the Four Corners Bluegrass Festival.
